Plastic
With so many variants plastics can be a tricky surface to stick to, and each plastic type has it's own unique composition, so you really have to be on your guard. Plastic tends to be rigid or flexible, the more flexible the trickier it is to stick to - due to the increased levels of an ingredient called plasticiser.
Certain adhesive tapes and plasticiser don't play nice, as a general rule of thumb you can use the following assumption: On flexible plastics choose an adhesive tape with acrylic adhesive whereas on rigid plastics choose an adhesive tape with a rubber adhesive.
Each of our products displays a spec sheet which will offer in depth detail into how that tape will perform and under what conditions. We're sure that we will have an adhesive tape that's suitable for your application but if you need expert advice pick up the phone and call 0161 351 9515 for assistance.
